Returning a parcel

Returns work slightly differently depending on the delivery method. You can create a return shipment through the Parcel Shop and send the return parcel label to your customer. A return code can be created either separately for each shipment or by using a fixed return ID for all shipments. There will be no additional charges for returns, only the prices for return shipments.

You can create a return shipment by opening the original shipment information from the Pakettikauppa dashboard and by opening the menu “Create…” -> “new return shipment” at the bottom.

Posti

Through Posti, returns can be made using either the Helposti code or a fixed return code. Charging takes place only after the parcel has been delivered to Posti. A fixed return code can be ordered through the Pakettikauppa contract by contacting Pakettikauppa’s customer service. Creating a return parcel label requires your own return code.

Posti’s fixed return code

A retailer can order a fixed Posti return code from Pakettikauppa’s customer service and forward it to their customers. The recipient will provide this code at checkout, and the parcel will be returned to the sender. Please note! If the return address needs to be changed, please contact Pakettikauppa’s customer service – editing the address from the dashboard will not affect the return code address.

Posti’s returns using a Helposti code

Create a return shipment and send the generated Helposti code to your customer. When returning with the Helposti code, the customer can write the code on the parcel, as long as the original parcel label has been removed.

Matkahuolto

A return parcel label is created for the customer. The customer prints the parcel label, attaches it to the parcel and deliver the parcel to the nearest shipping point. Activation codes are also used for Matkahuolto’s deliveries (cf. Posti’s Helposti code), which can be used to make returns.

Matkahuolto’s returns using an activation code

Create a return shipment and send the generated activation code to your customer. The customer writes the activation code on the parcel and delivers the parcel to the nearest Matkahuolto outlet.

DB Schenker

A return parcel label is created for the customer. The customer prints the parcel label, attaches it to the parcel and delivers the parcel to the nearest shipping point.
